A fairly big annoyance is that the clipboard url does not get saved right away but rather it takes a while.

this is annoying when I send one screenshot and then i want to send a second, I must now remember the first url to see if it has changed yet or not, otherwise i risk to send the old one again if i was too fast.

If this is an issue with shortening may i suggest that you put the full dropbox url in the clipboard immidiately and then shorten it and replace it in the clipboard.

or at least empty the clipboard first and then wait for new url, so once can see that there is no url yet.

This option no longer works on my pc but it works on a friend's pc.
I mean it change the link from short to full storage name.

Why It no longer works on my pc only?

Closed Feature: Space to move selection [1408]

I like to make tight selections, problem is then that sometimes i start the selection so it wont be correct. I can now right click and redo and try again.

this is annoying tho and i suggest that while selecting hold space to move the entire selection.

this is how it works in photoshop for instance... if you are holding down the mouse button in photoshop to make a selection and then press space you move the whole selection.

that makes it very easy to get exactly the selection you want.

Great work on space-to move and empty clipboard!

But I think there is a bug, I use Ctrl + Printscreen for cloudshot since i want original print screen functionality untouched.

However now on ctrl + print screen the windows 8 metro screen opens up (I was i windows 8 desktop mode when i clicked ctrl + print screen).

If I click escape in the metro screen I come back to the desktop and can use cloudshot which is still overlayed. But still very annoying.

This worked before, so probably a new bug.

Simple but useful feature:
- press Alt (or any other key) when you're in "selection" mode and your cursor becomes a simple pencil tool(color and line thickness can be added to app "Settings") so you can mark some parts of the picture
- press Alt again and you're back to "selection" mode with your "drawing" saved
- Esc discards changes and returns to "selection" mode

ah! now I understand, I didn't noticed it beacuse it was displayed in the secondary screen.
But now I saw it. it's big, yes .."Dropbox"

Btw I thought it was displayed into the screenshots, but it only appear just before you take the screen to display where the screen will be saved, so I finally get it.

Works fine for me. It shows big transparent text in the middle of the shot.

"Show active storage name on shot screen" it's option about text label on shot screen, not about link to uploaded image. The link returns from Dropbox and unfortunately I cannot control it.

I know it's very annoying, but unfortunately it's not possible to copy url immediately =(
According Dropbox API you can get file link only after file be udloaded
https://www.dropbox.com/developers/reference/api#shares
I not use url shortener, short url returns from Dropbox API

I will empty clipboard before shot.
